America is Different

Today, after analyzing the history of our nation, all of us shall agree that America has

never been a perfect nation. And this perception is drawn from the fact that there is always a group of people ostracized from justice and equality in America. Though we profess to be a nation of equality and justice, there is always a group of people who are asking for justice in America. But even in the midst of all imperfections, America still remains different!

What makes America different from other places?

America is different from other places because, whenever our wrongdoings are brought to light, we are always willing to take action towards change. This attitude has been the strength of our democracy; it is what the American creed is all about.

When African American sang, "Let freedom ring," was not freedom served? When they cried out for justice, was not justice served!" Why shall the immigrants forget about the history of the United States of America? Why should we become hopeless? There is always hope in America. The Good Samaritan is their hope.

The Good Samaritan Act will grant a pathway to citizenship to unlawful immigrants and those who are partly legal such as DACA and TPS recipients. There will not be a free pass to legalization. Unlawful immigrants and TPS and DACA recipients will be required to submit biometric data, pass criminal background check and national security checks, and pay fees and penalties before become eligible.
